I left tips for them on my table the first two nights and after the plate incident I didn't even want fresh towels or toiletries because I didn't want anyone in my room. I did not complian because I knew the housekeepers were in my room and I did not want to upset them. When I asked the pool attendant what time the whirpool was open til he rolled his eyes, pointed at the sign and said very rudely 'same time as the pool!' Not the case at other resorts I have stayed at!!! Usually the hot tubs are open later, like at the Tropicana! My bed spread was white but filthy and stained and I had hair all over my bathroom which left a sour taste in my mouth. Totally freaked me out, what purpose would anyone have to enter my room with dirty food dishes? Also, my main purpose for choosing this hotel was the pool which was closed except for one tiny pool in the back along with one whirlpool. That is until I came back to my room Sat afternoon and found a nasty, dirty dish sitting on my counter next to my ice bucket. I ended up traveling alone and I was pleased with how safe I felt during my 5 day stay. The hotel is beautiful and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
I chose the MIrage based on reviews so I thought I'd pay it forward.
